The Corporate Development Ventures & Acquisitions team at Accenture is growing and is looking to add to their Buenos Aries office. You will join a team that is passionate about enabling Accenture’s sustainable, profitable inorganic growth agenda and operates end-to-end across the acquisition deal cycle from origination through execution to integration. Open positions are at the Analyst & Sr. Analyst levels.

The Ventures & Acquisitions team is part of our Global Corporate Development team and works with our senior business leaders to identify, acquire and integrate companies. Strategic acquisitions help Accenture enter and scale in priority growth offerings, which mean the target companies are often in the most exciting and pioneering capabilities. Accenture is the most acquisitive company in the market.

You will be:

• Preparing strategic decks & presentations to help local & global leadership in the internal M&A decision making process.
• Helping build M&A acquisition landscapes, by collaborating with local and global senior leadership and their business strategy teams, analyzing target companies for suitability and researching priority market sectors.
• Automating reporting initiatives required by the global senior leadership.
• Implementing visualization dashboards and communicate insights generated from the analysis in a clear and concise manner
• Support database implementation & migration processes. Handle enhancements, questions & ad-hoc requirements.
• Support process improvement and process innovation initiatives through e.g. improving ETL processes, designing analytic metrics, relevant monitoring KPIs, implementing complex visualizations, algorithms to organize information or automating processes.
• Train & enable other teams to leverage the tools & methodologies developed internally.

• Enthusiastic team players with finance backgrounds. Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or similar
• Data enthusiasts with a desire to develop a data analytics / data science career applied to M&A environment (knowledge in Power BI, Power Query, SQL, API management, database management, VBA, Python, etc.)

Skills & Work Experience

Must have

• 1-2 years of experience required in Market research or M&A research, financial due diligence, financial analysis, reporting, business intelligence or similar consulting/corporate background.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools, database management or programming languages to handle and visualize data e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, API management (basic or intermediate eager to improve might also work!)
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Advanced in English. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred skills

• Working knowledge of research databases, e.g. CapitalIQ, Factiva, Pitchbook and CB Insights
• Portuguese language or any other is a plus.
